SOURCE: 2008 Ford F250 6.4 turbo diesel, have 3 DTC codes

Code1 p0088 = Fuel rail/system pressure too high
code 2 p0087= Fuel rail/system pressure too low
code 3 p2291 = Injector control pressure, engine cranking-pressure too low. I would suggest clearing the codes first and then rechecking to see which (if any) codes reappear. Good Luck.

SOURCE: 2008 Ford F250 6.4 turbo diesel, have 3 DTC codes

P0087- low pressure fuel system. Fuel pressur valve stock open, Fuel volume control valve stuck close, Leaking fuel injector,P0088- fuel pressure contorl valve stuck close, Fuel rail pressure sensor P2291-all @ at the above, means to say poor fuel quality

SOURCE: 2006 2.9 turbo diesel will not

i also encounter this problem, same fault codes,but it starts, only it emits black smoke then it backs to normal, i bring it to the hyundai dealer and they reprogram the computer but after one week the problem was back again.i've already change the fuel filter but to no avail.they said that i replace this fault parts which is inlet metering valve control,and or the injection pump or injector but unfortunately it is not available in our area.

That is telling you that the TCM has codes stored that need to be accessed. This requires a professional level scan tool to access the transmission module. A generic code reader will not do the trick.

F250 brakes

check the air line to the servo is good. and no air leaks also check there is fluid in the brake servo system tank. if all is good and you are not losing fluid then you need to replace the servo as it has failed

P1119 code also

That there code is for oxygen sensor in the exhaust manifold,here's a link to test and remove.They have the codes from Kia and Hundai as the same.Here's the part,replace with exact fit,no wire stripping and guessing.

Sounds like a bad engine temp sensor to me. Also could be a intake or EGR leak causing the 02 problem

I hear a whining pretty much all the time in my 02 F250 7.3 diesel especially when I am turning. I asume it's the P/S pump. Is that also associated with the brakes. They say you can't ask a stupid...

Not related to brakes. Check P/S fluid level. Pump may be drawing air. If fluid level is good, you might have to replace the pump to stop the noise.

2006 2.9 turbo diesel will not start fault codes P1119 P1120 P1640 check engine light stays on cannot locate main relay & computer position any suggestions

dear friend-it is very difficult to explain myself in a text. I would say ignore the fault codes at hand for a while untill we have a definate fault. I would like you to make sure that the battery is fully charged, when you carry out the next exercise. I want you to try and start it with quick start, but please do not crank to long, gentle squirts will do it. If no joy, then we must go live chat- I am sure it will work, but please come back to me
