Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Your Radiator fan relay is bad- the computer dies on this model alot. you can access it under the Passenger headlamp it is a bad location and you have to cut a little hole in the plastic after the headlamp is removed- Don't by aftermarket parts I was told they wreck the computer- not sure about that- but just to be sure by mopar parts.

That's because the battery was too dead to maintain operation you need 9 volts at the battery for the computer to run the injectors, the alternator was dumping all it could into the battery to revive it.and at idle it just wasn't enough. seems like you have a bad fan relay and a very dead battery. hope this helps you.
