Question about 2001 Toyota Corolla

1 Answer

I have electric problem on my toyota corolla 2001 CE. While I am driving, suddenly the power goes away by turning the headlights, wipers, odometer and Heat guage. But the Hazard light works and Radio works etc. When I check the state, it is like on 'ACC' mode/state. Now a days it is happening more often and my recent observation on bumps. May be some loose connection... Please help me where to find the loose connection or any idea of any other problem? Thank you

SOURCE: Problem with Automatic Daytime Running Lights

Have you verified both high beams are in working order? DRL's are very funny about not working if one of the lights is burned out. Rememeber that DRL's are only high beams using 20% of the power so just because your normal lights work, it does not mean the high beams are working correctly.

I have a 95 Toyota Corolla and this evening I suddenly heard a clicking sound as I accelerate and then it goes away as I accelerate

This is most likely being caused by a defective outer axle CV joint in the front wheel drive, the grease boot may be torn.

I have a 1998 toyota corolla. when i turn off my car the headlights stay on as well as the lights on the odometer they do not turn off. my headlights are automatic. also when i open my car door when the...

Hi David, the peeping is because the lights are on....If your parking in dark place and you have the auto lights selected just turn them off....The auto lights are for when you take a long trip and want the lights to come on in at a given time or in given conditions, example; driving into a tunnel....They work with a light sensitive diode and will trigger the light when the light level falls below a set candle power....
Select the off position and I believe your problem will be over.

2005 toyota corolla ce maint. required need to know how to reset.

To reset the system. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.
