You could have a bad temp actuator. This is the part that moves the temp door from hot to cold. The other thing is the control head could not be sending the signal to the actuator.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have a 2005 hyundai elantra heat blows cold air i changed thermostate and radiaor and blew out the heater core any sugestions

check to make sure the blend door is changing from cold to hot. With the engine off and the key in the run position set the blower motor to the highest speed. Turn the temp dial to full cold and wait 30 seconds. Now turn the temp dial to full hot a listen carefully. You should hear a difference in sounds as the blend door sweeps through its full range.

If it is working and the engine is fully warmed up feel the heater hoses where the pass through the fire wall. One should be very hot and the other should be pretty warm. If one is hot and one is significantly cooler than either the heater core is plugged or there is air in the heater core causing a block in flow.

I have a 2000 s 10 blazer heater doesnt work..but all fues are good and tried replacing swith in cab..no effect..but blower works just fine? Any ideas

Sound like a heater core, the heater core would be under your dash..Another sign of the heater core being gone, is you would notice the floor board being wet..It is possible that maybe at some point the floor board was wet and you didn't know here it came from and didn't give it another thought..But if the blower works..I would bet heater core...Or it could be a thermostate..check the thermostate first it would be the easiest.. and the cheapest..

No air coming from vents

good the blower works.
it takes 2 more things,
1: hot water, (engine coolant ) at 180F or more holding.
if not fix that first.
2: water flow , if both heater core hoses get hot 180F then the core is hot. and means,
3: no air flow through the core,
dampers failing, or controls. to them.

Heater not blowing hot air

IT could be one of several things: possible the blower fan motor is bad; or the valve that lets the hot water in from the engine to the heater core is not opening; or the door that lets the air flow past the heater core and onward to your vents is not opening. All these are controlled by your heater switch, via relays and vacuum lines. If the blower motor works well when you put power to it directly, but not when it is hooked to the car, a connection in the switch or a relay may be bad. if you get little or no effort from the blower motor when you hook it directly to a good battery, it's the blower motor itself gone bad. If you get airflow but not heat, it's the device which diverts the hot water into the heater core. and if its the door to let air flow over the heater core, it could be a relay, a vacuum hose or the switch.

1998 peugeot 406 heater gets warm but not hot

This may be a thermostant or a plugged heater core, locate the hoses going to the heater core in the engine compartment, feel both of them and see if one is a lot hotter than the other, if so then you may need to flush the core with a water hose, the other thing would be if the hoses are luke warm then the engine thermostat mat be stuck open.

No heat

You have a heater valve that controls hot air/cold air flowing thru your vents. Heater valve is most likely stuck and in need of replacement.

Changed the blower motor in 1985 wagoneer still dont get any heat, the heater core is still good, what else could it be??

What does the temp gauge read? 180-190 is ok if not change the thermostat,if ok is heater core lines both hot? if yes then heater core is good if not and one is cooler then core is plugged flush it out,if all that is good the air handler door are vaccum operated if there is no vaccum then all air in stuck on defrost and if not this then the hot air is getting cooled by cold air either from a broken heater box or the heater control for hot and cold is bad.

Cant get heat to the inside

Have you checked to see if small vacuum line on firewall under the hood is a-ok ( no breaks or cuts) it's usually on passenger side and goes through the firewall to inside.
Also I think when the heater core goes out you have no defrost either so when it is cold and wet outside your windshield will fog up.Also did you check your fuses.
