That would be a dummy light to indicate that your vehicle is running hot. Check the fluid level a.s.a.p to ensure that it has enough fluid in the rad, add if needed

I think you are referring to a different indicator light. A glow plug is a Diesel engine part and I do not think an American version has a Diesel. There is a "check engine light" which is an indicator of trouble and will display as you described.
Go to a Advance , Autozone, or Oreilys autoparts store. You can ask for a free scan to diagnose your problems. The coolant sensor can relate to a cold start problem. Some models use 2 temperature sensors. One operates the dash gauge and the other operates engine controls.
You will need to know if you replaced the sensor to the dash gauge instead of the engine control sensor. Both use heat to set engine controls.
No power to the glow plugs means no power to the light also. You have a bad fuse or connection to the glow plug relay. Fix that and your good to go. Has nothing to do with your indicator lights on either side of dash. Glow Plug power indicator is labeled THAT and only that.
if you have changed the glow plugs and it still plays up try changing the leads that run to each glow plug if that doesnt help theres a pre heat box relay which is for the glow plugs should be somwhere near inner wing check it is clicking over after you turn the ignition to start position youll get the pre heat light on the dash once that goes listen ans you should here the box click .hope i could help
Your glow plugs are going bad and need to be replaced. This is a sign to you that they are basically running all the time because they dont know that thye are heated up and the car is running. Common problem with diesels
