Usually this is caused by a bad camshaft sensor. a bad sensor will cause, car to stall on warmup and go into limp mode, will set a code if bad.the code is p0340 or p0344, have car scanned. if you do not have a scanner, go to any auto parts store ad they will scan it for free.

Series II 4.0 litre V8 Land Rover Discovery runs but stalls out after a few miles. The vehicle restarts after cooling down it seems. This generally takes a couple of hours or a tow back home. Service

Sounds like the same issue I had with my 2002 Discovery 2 V8. Mine used to run for about 10 minutes, then die, usually in the most inconvenient locations! The Crank sensor is in need of replacement. It sits near the exhaust downpipe (behind a heat shield) but obviously this shield isn't enough as they die after about 80,000-100,000 miles. Just get it replaced and I think your issues will solved.

I have a 99 grand caravan it starts perfect but once you turn off wont start till it cools off

Does the engine crank okay when warm and you try to restart? If you give it a little bit of gas when warm will it start? My guess if there are no check engine lights on would be a failing gas pressure regulator.

2005 Dodge caravan, lights on the dash, speedometer, gas tank and RPM window quit working. We were informed it is a computer glitz, like a virus and must be repaired as other electrical problems will...

This is typical symptom of computer malfunction, but can also happen when battery is low. I don't recommend replacing computer without more evidence. Is your engine light on? If yes, please see my tip at These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

On vacation, we went over the Continental divide or four times. The vehicle had trouble getting over the divide. When we got ready to go back home we stopped to eat lunch turn the vehicle off. Went back...

Souds like it could be a vapor lock problem. As long as the engine is running, cool gasoline is moving through the fuel system. Once the engine is shut off, if the fuel line at some place is getting hot it can cause the engine to not start or quit after starting. After the fuel line cools normal gas flow is restored. Look at the fuel line as it routes around the engine and see if you an spot this.

My car still stop all of a sudden without any warning and then it will have a little bit of a hard time starting.

If it starts fine when cold or will restart after it cools down and run until the engine warms up, have your TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) replaced. I have seen quite a few lately that will "warm" up and cause the car/truck to gradually run rougher as the engine compartment heats up and once it sits and cools off will restart and run again. You can go to auto zone, advance auto, etc and have them run a free diagnostic test on your car and tell you for sure if any TPS trouble codes are stored

Air conditioning on '97 Dodge Caravan 3.0L not working. No power to compressor.

Wait until you get it full, then see what it does.Could just be freon running through evaporator, and air. Once full & run a while, it may stop, if not, your AC will probably quit cooling again, then you'll know.
