You have lost a rear shoe or the Wheel cylinder in the rear has blown out due to worn shoes. Look for a leak at each wheel on the backing plate. if you see a oily substance at one of the wheels you have found your leak, it will need shoes or pads and a caliper and or wheel cylinder. Replace both sides at the same time. Or you will have the other side leak. If you can't find a leak then the master cylinder is bad. Take it to a mechanic if you can't find the leak.

What are symptoms for bad brake booster on 1998 Dodge Ram 1500?

Hard brake pedal when applied with the engine running. A quick test for the vacuum assist booster is to shut off engine, pump brake pedal 3 or 4 times and hold on the last pump, start engine and see if pedal drops a bit....if you detect a problem with booster you should check for adequate engine vacuum supply to booster when idling . You can sometime hear a hissing or air leaking when applying brake pedal with engine running if booster is defective

Right rear tire frozen

Handbrake mechanism, brake caliper or brake piston could be partially siezed or possibly rear wheel bearing siezed. If hanbrake was on over night start with that and then work on from there.

CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL FIRST.A FAULTY TORQUE CONVERTER WILL KEEP CAR FROM CRANKING IF TORQUE CONVERTER REMAINS LOCKED UP.CHECK BRAKES LIGHTS TO SEE IF BRAKE LIGHTS WORKING.BECAUSE WHEN YOU APPLY BRAKES THE TORQUE CONVERTER SUPPOSE TO UNLOCK.IF BRAKE LIGHTS WORK, HAVE CAR CODE SCAN TO SEE WHAT TRANSMISSION CODE YOU ARE GETTING.

This morning when I started my '98 Voyager. It started for about five seconds then turned off. This happened three times. Started it one more time and revved the engine. Same thing, five seconds then off....

I think the reason it starts and turns off is most likely you fuel pump the abs light on could be the brake fluid level and or the brakes may need replaced.
