Question about 1985 Toyota Passenger

1 Answer

I am converting a coaster into a motorhome, slowly. I need a handbook to complete the conversion with confidence. I don't even know how to remove the rear wheels, LH or RH thread? I would be grateful for your advice. Peter.

Hello i have a coaster motorhome 1990 i need to know what the orange light is on the dash below the fuel gauge . it has only just come on . Im woundering if it has anything to do with the fuel tank

if the fuel gauge is reading low --under a 1/4 full then very possibly it is a low fuel light and you have about 5 liters of fuel left to get to a fill point

1988 Toyota Coaster Motorhome

First check the AFT. If it is dark brown and smells burned, you likely need a rebuild. But you can try changing it 2 or 3 times. You can't just change it once because the majority stays in the torque converter.
Other causes of bad shifting can be a ruptured diaphram in the vacuum modular, if it has one. To check, pull off small vacuum hose to round vacuum modulator near pan. If any ATF comes out, replace vacuum modulator.
The throttle linkage or kick down adjustment can also have effect, if it has them. For example, it may have a kickdown switch under the gas pedal, and if it sticks, it will prevent high gear.

How to fix a vapor lock in the radiator on 99 mercury couger

Run the motor until it's a little bit warmed up. Put a big rag around your hand and remove the radiator cap while the engine in idling. Don't take the cap off completely all at once. Just loosen it first. After the steam and a small amount of coolant escape,

remove the cap completely and slowly pour water into the radiator and let the vapor circulate out. Don't get burnt. The rag around the hand is of utmost importance to avoid steam burns.

If the radiator won't take more water, there's a drain **** on the bottom of the radiator. Open it with a pliers if need be. They're usually too tight for just finger strength.

Let about 1/2 liter of coolant drain out onto the pavement. Close the drain **** snugly, but be reasonable.

The vehicle is idling all this time. Now, remove the radiator cap as described above, slowly add water (about one liter per three minutes, so you don't crack the engine block) and let the gas circulate out.

Where can I get a handbook for my Peugeot HDi 30 van which has been converted into a horse box?

try the dealers ,as this is obviously a UK vehicle then it falls within the boundaries of EEC legisation so am i to presume that this is a authorised conversion with project design work done by a authorised technical engineer who is a member of the institute of road transpost engineers ,then the work carried out by certified garage with a VAT number ,then the vehicle taken to the HGV test station for a certificae of approval and a complete vehicle inspection then the log book changed to show the modifications ,how can you tell i live in spain ?? If they brought the same laws in their i would be back tomorrow to open a office ,just imagine it want to fit spotlights need my signature ,want to take them off ?? ha ha need my signature again ,towbar ? import a car then you need a certificate with the details like 4 wheels and 60 amp battery 80 euros please and without it you cannot MOT the vehicle ,and this is how it should be i done six years at college and in the UK these certificates you may as well hang in the toilet for use of ,Now you know why i live in spain

Don' try this yourself unless you are VERY confident... I have seen many $500 kits RUINED by amateurs... Go to a shop that has proven experience with Cabrio tops, they are tricky to get just right!
