No, it's very easy. This is located under the dash on the passenger side of the car. There might be a black cover underneath, pull that off, then your blower is the part that looks like a flying saucer, remove the three bolts that bolt in from the bottom, then pull off your electrical pigtail and you have your blower motor in hand......Hope I could help!!!!!

Heater blower not working

We would not have cost info since pricing depends on your area.
The blower motor is behind the glove box and the dash does not come out to replace it.
A mechanic would check the blower motor for power and ground, then proceed with testing as necessary. It could be the blower motor, or something electrical. There could also be snow frozen in the housing, or something blocking the motor from running.

Toyota prius blower motor not working

I have this problem too, and I fixed it myself. Took out the blower motor, I spry it with WD40 and made sure i sprayed the motor on both sides and install it. it work fine. If you not sure you can take the blower out and disassemble the motor, the it is best to just buy the blower.

Please check your Fan / Blower sensor for malfunction. Replace it if needed.

Something is wrong with my AC/ Heat in my 2003 Acura TL-S. I took it to acura $$$$ for a diagnosis but was told that the blower motor needs to be replaced. I took it to another mechanic and was told to...

It sounds like whatever your dad did needs to be un-done. If you are getting hot air then you don't need to replace the blower or any part of it, it sounds like something is just wired up wrong. I would ask you dad what he did and if he can change it back.

My air condition will blow sometimes but then stop or I hit a bump and it stop blowing????

There is a sensor on the side of your blower motor. When mine started acting up I took it to a garage and they told me i need a new blower motor and a new dash board panel. I took it to my "in training" gear head buddy and he replaced the sensor and everything worked fine.

I have a 2004 GMC Yukon with auto climate control. The front a/c is working but the fan will not come on. The rear a/s works fine. Checked fuses, they are all good. Any suggestions?

It's most likely your blower motor control module. Easy fix! Remove the kick plate under the glove compartment and the module is right next to your blower motor - remove the two screws and it will drop right out. Disconnect the wire harness (2 wires) and replace. Good luck!
