That could be ALOT of things, spark-plug wires, plugged catalytic converter or fuel filter or even air filter. i could go over many things but its all pointless with out more information. Take it to auto zone, schucks, or napa and have them run a diagnostic on it.

Could a weak battery cause Throttle position switch sensor error code - after 1 hr drive engine lite on and gas pedal quits, restart car, repeats about 30 min later

no it will not. if the engine light is on check for codes this will help to know which direction to start diagnosing. a weak battery will usually show up on a no start condition. I am guessing the engine light that comes on is the check engine one.

Weak spark

This is just a shot in the dark but have you checked your ground wire from the battery to the engine/frame.A bad ground wire could be rotten on the inside and you would never know it.This would give you a bad path for current completion and therefore a weak spark.Just a thought Good luck

Car runs rough at start up backing up

stalls. is the word
the engine stalls not car. err both.
and is what and A/T automatic,
this very low engine power.
idle control failures.
only 2 , macro reasons.
1: weak engine (50 causes)
2: ISC dead. (i didnt say bad, many reasons for ISC system to fail
one reason is #1, the ISC can not make a weak engine strong,

a weak engine, is just that , due to misfiring (gross) or way lean
fueling.
one cause of 50 , is EGR stuck open,
A good tech finds out easy 1 or 2.? reason.
doing simple test. ask.

it's like a water faucet at home.
you open it (ECU) the valve, (ISC) and no flow, or weak? seen?
is it the valve bad? or the water company failure.?
we do tests. ask, if DIY person, the tests can go for hours.

Starter wont turn flywheel

starter motor weak. weak battery or engine is seized. take the spark plugs out and turn engine over with spanner on the bottom bolt on the pulley. if thats fine and move the engine freely then check the battery try a jump off a good battery. if not good and still will not start with the spark plugs back in then the starter motor is weak and needs changing. can do any of these in any order you like.

DODGE CARAVAN 1998. WHEN AIR CONDITIONER START THE ENGINE RPM DROPS. ?HOW CAN I INCREASE THE ENGINE RPM?

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. This may be because a weak alternator or weak battery. You need to check them both. The A/C uses a lot of power off the battery. Therefore, if it or the alternator are weak, it would cause the loss of RPMS.

The check engine light is on and the diagnostic code is 43, on my dodge dakota 1997, 3.9L. Engine is weak and misfire. Check spark plugs (OK)and everything else there is. Am I missing something? What?...

Plugs need to be changed every 30K, and wires, cap, rotor every 60K. Could be a weak coil not putting out enough spark, could be the pickup in the distributor, could be timing is off from stretched timing chain, could be weak compression. Check the basics first.
