Question about 1998 Dodge Dakota
Unfortunately it is a time consuming job. So you figure if a Shop charges $80/hr times 8 plus the part,,,,, Do you have more money ,,,or time? The dashboard needs to be disconnected to gain access to it. Stop by your auto parts store and look at the Haynes repair manual. It gives decent info as to doing the repair. I would recommend it as a Saturday job, and have a friend help you in the garage. That way together you can handle the long dashboard. Don't forget to unhook the BATTERY first,,,, so you don't set off the Airbag.
