You have a dead short in the wiring harness. Easiest way to diagnose is remove tail/parking bulbs and systematically replace them one at a time. When you replace them, not buy new ones just unplug them, your problem circuit will be when the lamps go dim. That's your short.

Let me know how it goes!

P.s. is the 666 because of the 3 b's in bobbie? Carefull, one's irthday is 12,22,12 may get upset. lol

2003 Pontiac Vibe no tail lights, brake lights and turn signals work just fine. The dimmer switch does not dim the dash lights but does work the dome just fineand the lights for the Heat/AC are off.

The tail lights work off the headlight switch, and there is a fuse for the tail lights. Make sure the fuse is good, first, a 15 amp (blue) fuse in the instrument panel fuse block. Then, you might have a bad headlight switch.
So you DO have dash lights, they just don't dim from the dimmer switch? In the wiring diagram, there is a green wire from a "tail light relay" (in the "Junction Block-Right Instrument Panel") that carries power to all the exterior lamps, as well as having a splice to the Instrument Panel Cluster (illum. bulbs), and to the lamp dimmer, and to the radio bulb.
To do any further testing, you would need a voltmeter or a test light, so you could chase down this power loss. Good luck.

No dash or tail lights, but headlights, turn signals, high beams and brake lights work, all fuses okay?

It could be the headlight switch. Did you check the fuses with a test light? If so then check the appropriate terminals coming off the headlight switch. Look at the schematic for this circuit to find the colour codes coming from the switch.

Tail lights and dash lights dont work

The common power source for the tail lights and instrument cluster is the 20A TAIL LPS fuse(s) in the fuse block. BUT, in the case of the instrument cluster, there are actually two fuses with the same identification. Replacement of the fuse with the ORG wire connected should restore the tail lights when you set the turn/hazard/headlight switch to PARK and may restore the instrument cluster lamps. If not, replacement of the second fuse with the two YEL wires connected should solve the problem

I have a 2001 potiac grand prix with no tail lights the same bulb work turn signal an brake lights they r fine ive checked all fuses and replaced all bulbs even replaced the light switch still no tail

no, they are not the same. The multifunction switch is on the steering column and controls wipers, turn signals, and hi/low beam headlights. Dash switch is on the dash and generally turns lights on and off and frequently also controls brightness of dash lights. I had a Camry that had the same thing happening...ended up having a toggle switch put in to control the tail lights...fixed the issue.

How do I replace headlight switch in my 95 Pontiac Bonneville

assuming that u have replaced any bad fuses. you have to remove the cover around the instrument panel. then u need to have a socket small enough to remove the screws that hold the head light switch in place. the head light switch knob should come out. you may have to pull it out first before u take the cover off. then remove the old switch and disconect the wires then replace the switch. i hope this helps

If you already check the dimmer definetly you will have to remove the dashboard area where the indicator is and replace those light bulbs they are tiny so careful and first check your auto parts store for correct number.luck!
