first see if you can reach behind the whole light and get to the connector, daytime running light is more towards the centre of the truck. if you can reach it, just turn it and pull the bulb out. if not then its either going to be bolts or long rods holding the light in place, remove those and then turn the connectors to expose the bulbs

Several of my lights behind the buttons on the steering wheel are out on my 2005 suburban 2500. How do you access these and repair

You have to remove the steering wheel center cover/air bag assembly and replace the buttons as a assembly you can't just replace the bulbs. They are molded into the buttons.

2005 suburban and sometimes in the back I hear what sounds like a band saw. could this be power steering about to go?

have the trans. checked out to be sure if it was in the steering the noise would come from the front end and you would likely be feeling something in the steering wheel

I need to replace the light bulbs for the steering

the switches in the steering wheel do not have bulbs, the switches have LED which lights up.
so if the lights in the switches are not working you'll need to replace the switches.
