I would suspect the fan switch itself,if it only worked on high,it would be the blower resister.

I have a 2003 Expedition and the front heat works but rear blows cold air. Any advice?

Well the first thing I would want to know is if the rear heater core is getting hot.
You can check the heater hoses if they are accessable, or pull the cover off the unit next to the third row seat and check the core.

2003 Expedition blows air but it is not hot. Any suggestions ?

1) Check your antifreeze level. 2) I have a explorer sport trac and after changing the heater core(pain in the a#$) I found out it was the heater control valve. Not sure if the expedition has this, but it is an easy fix if it does. It is plastic and has a little ball valve inside. The ball gets stuck closed. Good luck!

Intermittent A/C flow when on "Max" in '03 Ford Expedition

Check the actuator motor on the heater if controls the doors that direct the heat and ac. It is an easy replacement part and as to the cost I wouldn't know but you can check price on line at autozone.

2003 Ford Expedition Heater not working

This is all to common an issue in many Fords starting in the mid 90's, reason they went to a electric motor to control the air blend door , this motor moves the door air that diverts heat or cold from the AC, or mixes or blends it,the motor has failed or the door is stuck in the air duct, the bottom line is that to fix either problem the dash must be removed, no a job for the home mech, takes about 10-15 hrs to complete.
