Bought a 02 impala. engine replaced 2-3 years ago. ac only cool on the passenger side and only getting about 10 a gallon and once white smoke was coming out of the exhaust. Any ideas on these issues??

You have 2 faults here. Get a good local mechanic to run through a few basic tests, cylinder compression, oil in the water, water in the oil. Rough running. My guess the head gasket has gone because white smoke is usually water in the engine.
Your AC is down to a further investigation.

I have a 98 uno turbo If the car idle it don't smoke when i drive of for a while there come white smoke out but not a lot but it look like it coming out with force beat of the motor cam and then the water...

It has a seeping head gasket! This is a common problem with all import engines. They are not designed to run hot! Even if they have a lot of miles on them, this problem always seem to follow. If you are familiar with running compression test on a engine, I highly suggest you run one on your engine. Run a compression test with it cold and after the engine is warmed up. If the compression is lower once the engine is warm, your head gasket is leaking compression, and its pulling oil from between the gasket into the cylinders causing the smoke. Or it can be a combination of a seeping head gasket and a bad oil seal on the turbo too as well....

2001 Dakota compression loss, smells like gas, white smoke from exhaust

Sorry but this has happened to me before, you might have a blown head gasket. that is where oil and or water are getting in to the piston cylinder and causing the white smoke cause the oil and water is being burnt or boiled.take it to a shop unless you have all the right tools and knowledge to do this job. i cost me like $1500 labor and parts.

Smoking bad and bad miss and smells like gas in the oil on 1992 toyota paseo

I would look towards the fuel pump to see if there is any possibly way that it has failed and is leaking gas in to the oil. I have heard of that happening.

Another possible thing to check is ring wear, if your rings are to worn you will have blow-by which could cause gas in your oil.. Do or have done a compression test and see what your compression is. If the compression is low squirt a little oil in to the low cylinder and retest if the pressure comes up your rings are bad and that could be where your gas in your oil is coming from. If the pressure does not come up you have a bad valve. Seems to me that there should be no more then 15% max between high and low, any more then that needs to be repaired.

White smoke coming from the muffler, loud noise...

One potential cause is too much gas. It may be running "rich". Your car may also be burning a little oil. White smoke is water or antifreeze. If you are loosing coolant from the radiator, it's probably a blown head gasket. If not, it is just condensation in the exhaust pipe that is evaporating as the pipes heat up. If the car is running too rich, the unburned gas will cause black smoke and burning oil smoke will be blue.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

I have smoke comeing out of my a/c vents how do i fix it

Are you sure it's smoke? It could be condensation.

It seems to me that smoke would have a distinctive odor. Condensation would not. Some vehicles produce visible condensation from the vents when the weather is humid. This would not necessarily indicate a problem with the AC system.

What is reason for engine oil coming out of exhasut manifold

Hi!
You are asking good questions, first the oil, I presume your vehicle is of high mileage? and possibly had a hard life with maybe late service intervals?
There are a few possibilities oil is being burned, first and this relates to your last question (Back compression) is worn compression piston rings, the compression of the combustion seeps past these and sends pressure through the oil scraper rings (Last set on the piston) increasing crankcase pressure which in turn forces a film of oil out of your breather pipe, the outlet is usually located on the air filter so it is drawn into the cylinders and is burned causing poor ignition and smoke from the rear.
Second and possibly combined is valve guide wear, the valves allow oil through their worn stems and seals causing a smoke haze, this usually clears a lot when engine reaches operating temp.
I hope this epic has clarified your query? please press the Blue Button for my Free! effort.
Thank You!
