These vehicles have a security system in them. Your key has a chip in it, if the chip is malfuntioned or worn out the contacts on the chip will not hit the tumbler. The pcm will not send a signal to the relay to start the vehicle when you turn the key. You will have lights, radio and all accesories. Any place that cuts keys will have your key. Ace Hardware does it for 20 bucks.
