Has to be no pressure against the drive train. put it in neutral and let the truck settle into a resting position sometimes u have to back up and then go into neutral till it settles. Then put it into park then press the low lock. If you still have problems it may be the switch on the dash - easy fix - or the relays on the right side near the passengers feet.

The a/c button and the recycle button wont push on

Check refrigerate level, if low, the clutch will not kick in and the
buttons will not engage.

4wd doesn't work

If this is a push button see if it has a small motor that looks like a windshield wiper motor on transfer case, many times get a bad connection here, others use vacuum to kick in the 4x4 so check for broken or hole in hose.

How to engage the 4x4

This depends on what system you have installed in your truck. If you have push button 4x4 with auto locking hubs then you would put your vehicle in neutral and press the 4x4 button. You then drive froward about 10 feet and the auto locking hubs should then be engaged.

If you do not have push button control and you have a gear shifter which controls the transfer case you would push the level in 4x4 hi or low depending on what you want (while in neutral) then drive forward about ten feet so the hubs lock. If you have manual locking hubs you need to manually engage the hubs before you put it in 4x4 mode,
