Year/make/model??? Are you referring to the AC fan speed only working on high inside the vehicle? If the fan is only operating on the high speed, suspect a fan motor resistor problem. The resistor may have to be relaced
You likely line up the spline on the motor corrcetly or the wiper mecinisum was in the wrong pisition.
But the wipers arms will come off their will be a clip that needs to be remove and the whole arm will pull off .
Then repisition it on the spline ware you need it to be and reinstall the clip and it will work fine
the fan speeds work through a blower motor resistor and not separate fuses for each speed. when these resistors go bad they are designed to work on high speed only.
Hi!!
The Blower Motor Resistor also called Manual Temp. Control resistor), is fried, replace. The price with floor console $25 and without floor console $65. here is a pic.
the resistor is located on the blower motor housing, fastened by two screws. It is the part where the electrical plug connects, the plug on the pic. goes to the blower motor.
A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
