Question about Saturn Vue
My first question is. Why do they want to replace an alternator, that
puts out 14+ volts? Back to the idle problem, check throttle possition
sensor. It sounds like it's working when the car is cold, but when it
warms up. The temp. sensor tell's the pcm to idle down, the pcm tells
the throttle pos. sensor to idle down. The throttle pos. sensor may be
bringing the idle to far down. The best way to be sure is to get the car
scanned for trouble codes, any autozone/cap or napa will scan it for
free. If the throttle pos. code comes up, replace it and you should be
all set. If you have any questions about this problem. Or another one
you can find me here. Hope I was of some help. Good luck.
