Well the cap will unscrew counter clockwise maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 turn normally. to add fluid use a suction gun. unscrew end of suction gun pull plunger back, add desired fluid, then screw cap and tube back on. push plunger in with tube in reservoir. hope this will help

That is a tricky one.You will have to reach under there and undo the cap and lift the float if one is there with your other hand and tip it to the side to get it off.If you have a new (small) bottle of brake fuid there should be enogh room to tip to get most of it in the resivor or you will have to use a clean flexable funnle.

2005 chevy duramax 4x4 brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, ABS light on

You need to add BRAKE fluid. After that, blead your brakes. You need to find out where the brake fluid went. If there are no leaks, you need to check the remaining life on all four brake sets. If you have no leaks, chances are pretty good that you need new brakes.

WHERE TO ADD FLUID TO CLUTCH MASTER CYCLENDER

it appears from my info, that the clutch master cylinder is connected by a tube to the brake master cylinder resevoir, and it gets it's fluid supply there. Fluid would therefore be added AT THE BRAKE RESEVOIR. fIND THE CLUTCH MASTER ON THE FIRE WALL AND VERIFY THIS THOUGH, AS i CAN'T SAY THAT i REMEMBER SEEING THIS IN PERSON. gOOD LUCK, AND GET BACK TO ME WITH ANY MORE QUESTIONS.(Sorry, don't type well, and accidently hit caps lock)

The front/driver's side of my van is leaking brake fluid very fast.

sounds like a broken brake line or a brake master cylinder problem. the master cylinder has a resevoir ontop were you add brake fluid. Does your brake pedal feel spongy? if so sounds like your master cylinder needs to be replaced.

I need to know where to put the brake fluid

In the brake master cylinder resevoir located under the hood directly over your steering shaft. You should see a rectangular shaped plastic cap. If you need to add brake fluid you need to have your brake system checked. You should never have to add brake fluid.

95 ford escort problem with the cluch, friend said it might be out of fluid. can not find cluch master cylender to put fluid in

The clutch slave cylinder gets it fluid from the "Brake Master Cylinder" resevoir. If the fluid is out there is possibly another problem. Anyhow, there is a bleeder plug on the slave cylinder, make sure the brake resevoir is full and the lid is secured back on then have a friend work the clutch pedal in as you loosen the bleeder on the clutch slave cylinder. Only have the person working the clutch pedal release the clutch after you have retightened the bleeder. AND FOR GODS SAKE AND YOUR OWN DO NOT HAVE THE VEHICLE RUNNING WHEN PERFORMING THIS!!! Many heads have been crushed due to stupidity, not thinking and getting in a hurry.

1994 Crown Victoria: need to add brake fluid to master cylinder...

Why would you add fluid?
As the front pads wear, the fluid will go down, not an issue
If you keep opening the fluid resevoir, you will let moisture in.

Ford F-250 Clutch Fluid resevoir location?

There will be a little black resevoir to the right of the brake master cylinder. Its mounted to the firewall. When filling or topping off the fluid, make sure you remove the black rubber boot after the cap is removed. The resevoir itself will only hold a little fluid. Hope this helps you. Please leave response if you could. :)

What liquids go in each resevoir?

Coolant in 50% concentration goes into the coolant overflow bottle. Windshield wiper fluid into the wiper fluid bottle. Power steering fluid into the power steering fluid bottle.
You do not need to add any other fluids to these. Do not add water to the washer fluid bottle for example, if you drive in a climate that would allow it to freeze.

Smoke rolled out from under hood, popped hood, brake fluid all over engine, cannot tell where it came from resevoir empty.. i am a poor female and hope i can fix this my self please help tell me where its...

Sounds like you found the leak already, add a little more fluid & have someone hit the brakes while sitting to confirm. That line will need to be replaced, and system will need to be bled.
