The light means transfer case. On a navigator if the 4wd low indicator
light has a blown fuse. The car will only operate in 4wd low. Change the
fuse, and see if that cures the problem. I hope I was of some help.
Good luck.

    Hello again.

First. Did the new fuse work? If not,was the old fuse blown?

Did it 1/2 work? Like the t/c light is out but it's still in 4w low, or vice versa.

If it's still not working, I will need to know these things, to take the next steps.

Also. The obd codes can be very helpfull in isolating the problem. And you don't

have to go to the dealer to have it scanned. Autozone/napa or advance auto parts

will scan it free. If the problem persists you can repost your problem. Just be sure

to mention the things you've already done

    Hope I helped. Good luck.

T/C STANDS FOR TRACTION CONTROL. ONE OF THE SENSORS THAT THE T/C USES MAY HAVE GONE FAULTY AND IS KEEPING IT IN T/C BECAUSE IT THINKS IT IS IN A POOR DRIVING CONDITION. THE WHEEL SPEED SENSORS OR ABS SENSOR IS MOST LIKELY AT FAULT. A SCAN OF THE COMPUTER WIL PINPOINT THE ISSUE AND TELL YOU WHAT SENSOR IS BAD OR HAVING AN ISSUE. BUT YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO YOUR LOCAL SHOP TO HAVE THIS DONE. BECAUSE IT REQUIRES A SPECIAL SOFTWARE.

The TC light is for traction control. In normal drive the light on the dash board should be off (not displayed). If the truck2003 lincoln navigator is stuck in 4x4 low and t/c - 2_bing.gif feels the need to engage the TC in special driving conditions then it will and the light would come on. If you press the button for more than five seconds then you are turning the feature off. If this does not resolve your problem, then you may have a dective sensor. i know the 2007 models have had a recall, I have not heard of a recall for your model year. Unfortunately, this is probably best to have a good tech to perform repairs if needed.
thanks.

It's very hard to say at this point, Possibly a defective solenoid switch in the traction control system.

This vehicle has many electronic components, and a diagnostic meter is the only way to start in resolving the issue. You can check the owners amnual for more info, and a possible cause and resolution, but I'm not feeling good about the manual info providing help.

    Thanks again.

I have a 2003 lincoln navigator 4x4 and would like to know how to remove both front rotor

Remove the brake calipers and the caliper brackets. Then the rotors should slide off, (should) Some times you need to beat the hell out of them with a big hammer. But don't hit the wheel studs.
