I have coolant running out under my car at or near the fire wall Is that where the coolant sensor is

temp sensor would'nt leak unless it's been unscrewed , i would think it's either a split hose as the coolant hoses go through firewall to the heater matrix , or possibly a freeze/core plug , these can corrode through it does'nt have to freeze for them to give out, have to get under neath and have a good look , get a small mirror may help you see lower down

Leaks coolant from back of engine

Is it the back of the motor or the fire wall possibly a bad head seal if its the actual motor or it could be the heater core if it the fire wall also check the coolant lines and follow them if possible to make one is not leaking and just running down the back side of the motor

I have a 2003 chevy silverado 1500 with a coolant leak that comes froma small hose on eh fire wall does any one know why it leaks and how I can repair it. Thank you Thomas

a small hose on the fire wall! Sounds like it could be for the heater core. Depending where it is leaking from, you may be able to replace the hose clamp(if its leaking out the end of the hose), You can buy a few hose clamps from your local autoparts store(I also seen them in a few grocery stores, and of course, at Wal-Mart)
Good luck

Water leaking on passenger floor

Check, if it's coolant, going to be a leaking heater core, if it's water, a/c drain clog up, go under hood, passenger side fire wall, look for little hose coming out of fire wall, stick a pen in there to unclog.

Where is the drain for the air conditioner? I have water in the passenger compartment. 1997 Park Ave.

Look under the car at the firewall. there should be a small plastic or rubber hose sticking down on the right hand side. Gently slide a pen or into it, and dislodge the dirt. A bunch of water usually comes out quick, so be ready to get out of the way.

Hope helps (remember rated and comment this).

Leking water from back ner firewall not heter hose

The AC condensation drain tube is also located on the passenger side fire-wall towards the bottom of the fire-wall, it is there to drain the condensation from the evaporator/core plenum so that it does not flood the passenger compartment floorboard with water and it can easily be viewed from under the vehicle, and if it is cool clear water that is leaking and not hot coolant then you have no problem and that is a normal condition when the AC is operating.

If it was a coolant leak the cooling system would be low on coolant, and the engine would run hot when the coolant gets low.

POSSIBLE LEAK FROM THE TUBE CONNECTED TO THE FIREWALL.

pipe going to the fire wall is usualy the cabin heater. for the time being there should be 2 hoses going to the fire wall coolant in/out. remove them from the pipe on the fire wall and blank them off or if the hose is split replace them. it could be the heater core but that usualy leaks into the cab.
