Bought the truck used in 04. No check engine light. I can only assume it is on all night. I notice it is on when I turn off the truck and that is when I turn off the heater switch. Sometimes I get out and don't pay any attention so it might be running.

SAfter shutting off the truck, radio and fan continue to run. Also, went out the other morning and found radio running without keys in the ignition. I tried replacing the relay switch in the fuse box. ...

Check and make sure the ignition switch is not worn out and allowing you to remove the key when the switch is turned backwards in teh accessory position. once the key is removed and the radio is staying on, turn the ignition without the key in it, both directions and see if it shuts off, if it does, menas work cylinder or key.

When I turn my car off the air conditioner still runs-I needed a jump the other day because it ran all night and wore the battery down.

OK, if the relay for the A/C fan is bad, then the radiator's fan will keep running after turning off the ignition. Also, if the fan for ventilation of the A/C in the cabin stays on after the ignition is turned off, the relay for that is bad.

Good luck on this repair.

Hi Bicks!
I think what you will find is that the electrical portion of the ignition switch down on the column is defective, out of adjustment or loose, repair as needed.

Heater fan stays running with key out of ingition and overdrive light flashes and speedometer doesn't work and abs light flashes this all started when vehicle was setting

It sounds as if the ignition switch is defective. Really, there shouldn't be any other explanation, since that switch controls power to the heater fan and the dash lights. Possibly part of it has broken internally.

This could be leading to other problems, fix it first. Under 20.00 on eBay w/1 yr. warranty-others available too.

I note it does have 15 terminals, that's a lot of variable controls for an ignition switch.

good luck
