If water is getting through the door seal, the only thing you can do is replacing the door seal.

In some case the fault is caused by a door problem, in that case fixing is more complicate, as you will have a structure problem.

Far more often, the seal is worn or damaged, and the water will slip through.

Unfortunately there is no other solution than replacing the door seal. Using sylicon paste or similar will not be a good solution. It will still allow leaks, and the clumsy repair will be visible to purchaser.

L reg, petrol, 3 door renault clio. n it squeals like a pig.

That is your trust bearing in your clutch assembly, its a cheap part but involves basically a clutch change to sort out, you can either live with it till the clutch fails or depending on how long its been since it was last changed, bite the bullet and get a whole new clutch fitted.

I have dirty water getting into the spark plugs of my 1993 renault clio 1.8 16v. what is causing this problem?

What happen at some time or another your engine got hot, now the head gasket is damage and letting water go where it should'nt. The only fix for this is to have your head gasket replace and the cylinder head check for crack's and resurfic, also they'll need to fine out why it over heated in the first place . Good luck

I have a 99 Ford Explorer sport two door and everytime it rains hard somehow the water gets into the rear drivers side soaking the floor of the truck. Is this a common problem? Its seems to be, how do I...

I have this problem with my '93 explorerbut the warer comes into the front. I think somewhere there are seals loose along the window or door for you. For me it is the windshield that was poorly sealed.

Renault Clio sport R Reg - leaking manual sunroof

word_answers.gif Betta Windsrceens Stockport have been repairing sunroofs for 30 years. What i will tell you is both the mk1 and mk2 clios have a problem with the sunroofs.
The sunroof needs to be taken out cleaned damming seal on frame removed and fitted back with silicone sealer excess sealer clean of with white sprite no need to remove head lineing if fitted with 10 mm bolts use a ratchet spanner. Mk1 clios also leak from the arial remove and reseal. And mk1 & mk2 have a problem with the bulk head filling up with water. Open bonnet on the back of the bulk head is a hose about 6 inches long which gets blocked un block and the water can drain like it did the day the car left the factory. bettabob
