Luggage compartment wont lock passat 2003

It is likely that you have water ingress in the rear boot latch, you must remove the latch and dis-connect the little connector, you will soon notice if water has been there, this will require a wiring repair and replacement latch, quite common on the 3B passat, you might find that the water is getting behind the boot handle.

CENTRAL LOCKING NOT OPENING BOOT

My passat boot lock does the same because someone forced the lock one night, i replaced the lock barrel but from time to time the white plastic acctuator or pump if you want to call it that jams in the open position and needs a small tap with the boot lining removed to free it up.A replacement is only £23(U.K pounds) or just spay a little lubricant in the mechanism to free up the mostly dry plastic parts.

Hi I have a skoda superb(2003),when I unlock the car or no matter which door I open,cabin light,door lights,side mirrors lights,boot lights don't work.Fuses and relays are ok,what should I do?

check that the drain hole for the windscreen wipers is not blocked. This can cause water to ingress into the front passenger foot area. There are electrical connections under the carpet area. Sort these and your problems should be over.

What is the procedure for replacing the driver side cylinder head 'plug', located on the back of the valve cover on a 2003 passat v6?

To clarify, the plug is located on the head, not the valve cover. If the head were off the block the procedure would be very clear. Since it's not out, I gently tapped it and 'worked' it out using a screw driver and hammer from the top and sides. The new one gets pushed in. Work space is very tight. Take your time.
