That could also be a lazy O2 sensor behind the cat or a little leak in the exhaust inbetween the upstream O2 sensor and the down stream O2 sensor.

Engine reduced power. what are the most found fixes?

This one is a bit tricky and the cause is likely one of the following :
1 A common problem with the 2002 through 2007 is the throttle body, The price on these has gone up because of high demand. It could also be the computer but that is pricey so leave that as a last resort. What I would replace first is the catalyctic converter. A clogged one will give all the symptoms you listed including a "limp" mode which will get you home with reduced power.. If you are in a area that does not have annual emission tests , I would skip the cat altogether and just replace it with a straight pipe. You may have to reset the computer, but that's still your cheapest gamble. Before you do anything at all, disconnect your battery and let the vehicle sit for about 15 min before reconnecting battery as the computer may simply need a re-set. Good luck.

Sounds like a possible Torque Converter Clutch solenoid in transmission valve body. This fix is alot easier than it sounds.

Gmc yukon denali reduced engine power stability system disabled

I had the same problem in my Yukon Denali And after 4 throttle body's, replacing gas pedal, rewiring the grounds replacing sensors, took it to not one but two GMC dealerships who were useless they can't fix their own trucks they're not the brightest !!!! After thousands of dollars I found a mechanic very familiar with this issue you want the solution it will cost ya 500$ for me to tell ya!! Just kidding I know how frustrating this problem is okay here is the fix the problem is these electric throttle bodies are GARBAGE!!!!!!! Don't matter what u do or what u replace it will come back on unless u convert your electric throttle body to the old cable throttle the actual fix was 900$ but I spent thousands and thousands trying to fix it!!! Please save your money and tell ur mechanic u want to convert to the old cable throttle!!! Gmc is well aware of the problem but won't fix it for u cuz they're useless

HOW MUCH SHOULD IT COST TO REPLACE TWO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ON A 1997 TAURUS....BOTH FRONT AND BACK???

If your mechanic is using Direct Fit catalyctic converters the average cost on this repair is 800 to 1000 dollars and labor between 180 and 360 and that is for the front y pipe section.

How do I reset O2 service light

if you have already replaced the o2 sensor. disconnect the negative side of the battery ,wait 30

seconds then reconnect the negative, the service light will go away, most cars have two o2 sensors

plus the catalyctic converter. if it comes back you may need to replace another one or your converter.

good luck!

Toyota pick up 91 4wd engine service light codes

Unfortunatly ther is no generic code when your engine light is on you have to go to your local garage and have the truck scanned to get the code
and if your engine light is flashing you will damage your catalyct converter if the problem is not fixed soon

Ceck Engine light came on

How come you assumed it was the catalytic converter???
Anything from a loose gas cap to an engine misfiring can cause the check engine light to go on. You should get an OBD-II scanner or bring it to a garage and have them diagnose your car for the reason the light came on. They'll be able to retrieve the code that will narrow down what the cause was

No power engine banging bmw320d aa said injectors if so is this a expensive job

Have you catalyctic converter checked first. If the exhaust smells like rotten eggs and the exhaust has low pressure coming out, the converter is restricted.. cost I cannot quote.
