Power steering is hard, all the oil is leaking I don't exactly know from where?

Well you need to find out where the oil is leaking from. There are basically 3 different places it could leak. Either the seal is bad on the pump itself so it's leaking behind the drive pulley on them pump, or there are two high pressure oil lines (supply and return) that might have gone bad. If it's the seal on the pump, then you are going to need to replace the pump. If it's one of the oil lines, then I would fix it pretty soon because if the pump runs without power steering fluid in it, the pump will not last long. good Luck

I have an oil leak at top of motor and car didn't make this whining noise at first I checked the power steering and its full could the whining come from the leaking issue

Does the whining volume increase when you turn the steering wheel back and forth? If so, your power steering pump is on its way out. The "oil leak at top of motor" is not very descriptive. Is the color of the oil the same as the color of the power steering fluid? If so, it is likely that leak is coming from your power steering pump. If not, I would need more information to determine the cause of the leak. What color is it? How much is leaking? Does it leak when the car isn't running, or only when it is running? Where exactly on top of the motor is it leaking? A hose? A seam in the engine?

Oil leak hose coming off oil pump image

I think that you are refering to the power steering pump an the oil hose is leaking from a fitting or a hole in the pipe. Check the tension of the fittings and tighten if loose . Take the vehicle to a steering specialist to determine the exact position of the leak.

Well you could chase it forever due to it blowing back when driving. I would take it to a car wash and wash if off real well underneath and drive it back home. It will show exactly where it's coming from.

The steering is hard to move and the steering warning light is on. Please let me know what to do I need to urgently resolve it.

The servo unit on the steering has failed . Look inside the engine bay for oil leaks - if none are present then the entire steering rack will have to be replaced - the internal seals have failed.

It could be a simple rubber hose that is worn. Take a flashlight or any portable light and check your power steering oil lines. Be more careful at the side of the leak.

Power steering is leaking fluid can you tell me some of the locations that it can leak from

two most likely places it could leak oil from is the steering rack or the power steering pump,,,check the steering rack by turning the steering hard over and looking at the rubber boots on each end to see if any oil is leaking from them (its red in colour) also look at the pump you should see if thats leaking oil as it will splater every were,,,there is a slim chance its a pipe,,,,
