How to remove the brake booster

What you have is a standard, run-of the mill brake booster. First, remove the vacuum booster hose from the check valve. Then remove the two nuts hold the brake master cylinder to the booster. Carefully move the master cylinder to one side. The lines will allow for movement, but be sure not to overstress of break any of them. Now, under the dashboard, find and remove the clip that secures the brake pedal to the booster actuator rod. After that, still under the dashboard, locate the two nuts the hold the booster to the firewall and remove them. The booster will then pull straight out if the firewall. See pictures for relative locations.

Need to replace side mirror

this is an easy job, alot of these you can pop the cover behind mirror and get the the plug and the bolts that hold the mirror. if not then remove the left top of panel just pull away from the door to get enough room to reach the plug or one of the bolts, if you what to remove the complete panel then remove the door reflector theres a screw behind that remove it, then flathead screw driver use to remove rear truck release bezel and dissconnect switch. next remove lower switch screws and bezel, then push door switch bezel up with screw driver and discconnect know gentle pull on panel to release hold on clips, these clips pop on and off. hope this helps.

AC IS BLOWING WARM, BLOWER OK COMPRESSOR OK..2000 OLDS ALERO SPORT

You have a temp door not open. This could be vacuum related,or it could be a temp door actuator motor gone out.If you are mechanicaly incline, look under dash, behind the glove box and all the way across the ac/heater box/duct.You will find witch vacuum servo,or actuator motor controls the temp door by process of elemination.Move each control (temp, defrost, floor vent recirculation, max air, etc.Watch each one underneth the dash until one of them does not move, this one will be the one to work with manually.Disconect actuator motor completley,or pull the servo to make the door move.If it is a actuator motor, after you remove the motor, you will see a arm type mechanisum to move. This will tell you for sure that this is the actuator to replace. If it is a vacuum servo that is not moving, check for a bad vacuum,or vacuum switch on the ac control/Be sure you have good vacuum under hood going to the firewall(near windshield)Also there might a check valve near the firewall that is bad,or vacuum hose sucked together or split. If I can help you any further.let me know.roniecon@gmail.com

Need to replace the door mirror on my 2000 Olds Alero.

to remove the mirror you need to remove theinner door panel and the bolts will be up high. Just follow the electical wire to the connection which is about a few inches away and the mirror is off. You may not even need to remove the panel if you have a plastic section on the top of the door near the window. Your stalling could be caused by your theft system, the next time it happens check to see if the security light is flashing. It could also be a bad connection at the fuse box under the hood, or at the fuel pump, electrical problems are the worst, you just have to go step by step. check for codes first before anything.
