The one thing i use is carburetor cleaner ,spray it at the vacuum lines and the throttle body plate as you do it you will see a change in idle if you spray the bad leak area.but if the leak is that loud it could be coming from the brake booster line or brake booster itself.hope this helps you.

Recently replaced fuel pump due to nissan truck not running. When it starts it sputters and dies when you give it gas.

Sounds like a vacuum leak or crossed vac lines, MAF or MAP sensor issue. Check fuel PSI & fuel volume.

If the problem is not a vac leak, it could be the idle circuit inside the carb. You may have to replace or rebuild the carb to fix it.

Is it possible the engine block is shifting in reverse and something in the wiring harness or a vac hose is being affected ?

I have to step on the gas to start my fuel injected engine, then when I get it running, put it in gear, it dies. As the engine heats up it gets worse. Much worse and I have a lot of trouble keeping it...

Look for the pcv valve in the valve cover pull it out and take it off the vac line and see if its dirty should be able to shake it and you should hear a rattle or clicking when you shake it also check the line to be sure its not dry rot and broken, sounds like you may have a vac leak

Sometime works other 50/50 won't idle

Honestly, I would say its your Mass airflow sensor. Sounds like your truck is sucking either not enough, or too much for the air/fuel mixture to compensate. Thats what it sounds like to me. I would replace that, or even clean it. If you take it out, and clean it up real good with some alcohol, you might catch a break as well. Hope all goes well.
