This DTC is monitored with the engine cranking or running. This DTC will be stored in the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) when the PCM FAILURE COUNTER reaches 96 failures for 2 consecutive trips.

DTC P1391 - Intermittent Loss of CMP (Camshaft Position) Or CKP (Crankshaft Position) sensor

Your Crankshaft or Camshaft sensor is not working properly. Needs to be checked out and maybe replaced; first try checking the wiring and harnesses (very common failures).

1998 chrysler concorde, what does interm loss of CMP or CKP mean on a OBDII scanner

It means that intermittently you are losing the signal from your camshaft position sensor (CMP) And you are also losing the the crankshaft position signal sensor (CKP). these are magnetic or hall effect sensors that go out sometimes and are necessary or you could have a poorly running vehicle or it may not run at all. hope this helps you out!!!
