If this extended crank time is after it sits for a while. The fuel pump could be bleeding back and it takes time to prime the fuel rail again. easy to verify put a fuel pressure gauge on get it started, when you shut it off the pressure should hold. Hope this helps

Dodge Durango Won't Start, Turns over, NO BUS on instrument cluster

1998 - 1999 Dodge Durango 3.9L

The PCM has 3 connectors plugged into it. Try wiggling each connector and listen for a clicking sound, starting with the connector furthest from the front of the Durango, and the middle connector with a white top.

If this doesn't help, replace your PCM. The PCM (power control module) can get hot, causing a short or broken circuit inside the module. Replacing the module will fix the problem. If your truck dies randomly when it's hot outside, but will start back up after it cools down, this is probably the problem.

During a long ride the turn signals and radio in my 2001 dodge durango both quit working suddenly. Is there a fuse that controls both and where might I find it (in the dash panel or under the hood)?

I have the same problem with my 2001 Durango. It has something to do with the ignition cylinder not making a good connection. I have to tilt the steering wheel all the way up and then giggle the key to make the turn signals and radio come back on. It's also a lot worse in cold weather.

I took the ignition cylinder out and cleaned it and it has helped the problem a little bit.

inveiw possible probable answer is as follows 1 is the vehicle getting spark. #2 is the vehicle getting fuel. then if so .How was it running before that more likely will give you the answer. to your q or at least send you in the right direction.

Durango turn signals and stereo intermittently working

Check the PDC or power distribution center under your hood next to the battery. You will want to disconnect the negative battery terminal before doing this.

I had an issue of corrosion on the underside of the PDC in my 01 D that was causing similar issues.
