You'll have to buy a new one. If any of the plastic fell into the engine you will need to have it towed to a grage and have them remove the broken pieces from the engine. Do not start the engine if this has happened.

Common locations of oil leaks after over filling oil

Mike, If oil was overfull possible gasket may have blown out from oil pan or oil filter seal may have popped out. If engine was making noise internally prior to all this, you may have a broken connecting rod which punched a hole in oil pan.

06 mini cooper oil cap broken and stuck

Get a big pair of pliers and unstick it. Break it if you have to. It is plastic and if some of it falls into the engine. It won't hurt it. Again it is plastic. Better to have a bit of plastic in it, than no oil...

Oil cap won't unscrew is there a button or lever

shouldn't be any latching devices on any oil cap, sometimes they just get very tight from heating and cooling. it's probably plastic so be careful but you can try using pliers. if you do break it get a new one don't try reusing a broken oil cap. if you have to drive to the parts store in it install the cap loosely for easy removal.

Where is the oil filter

If this engine is the 2.2 ecotech engine the oil filter is a internal cartridge filter located on the left side (driverside) of the engine right next to the intake manifold. There should be about a 3" black plastic cap that looks like the top is designed for a socket or wrench. The oil filter is contained below this cap on the ecotech engine.

Car overheated alot of water leaking out the

First find exactly where the water comes from.
broken hose or hole in radiator - if no leaks here then :-
broken / loose drive belt to water pump - sign is no heat to internal heater
thermostat stuck - heats up and overheats quickly. water from exits rad cap area
also check radiator cap - should be sprung to contain water under pressure, usually these are very reliable

check oil filler cap [inside of] - should be oily and grey/black If it has a covering of what looks like soft brown aireated jelly then possibly hear gasket or other internal engine leak between water & oil ways. The excess pressure from engine will force water out of rad cap area . A compression test with variable readings for between cylinders will confirm this. Hope its not this. It's expensive

Oil Filter Location on 2009 Kia Borrego W/3.8 ltr

nazof is exactly right. Totally disregard emissionwiz and clint_carter. I have the exact same vehicle and have changed the oil and filter myself. The filter is located right in the middle, almost up against the firewall, after you pop the plastic engine cover. You must twist off a plastic cap and then pull the filter (a cartridge type) straight up and out. There are two replacement rubber rings that should come with your replacement filter. One goes on the plastic cap (just above the screw threads) and the other much smaller one goes at the end of a plastic rod that is connected to the cap.
