Question about 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
Asked earlier about 2007 jeep overland not starting in exstremely cold temps. have had charger on over an hour also will not jump start just "Clicks" is this battery, starter or maybe some alrm type issue? Truck running fine in previous cold temps.
Heres a quick test. Remove the charger cables and turn on the headlights. If the lights dim way down when you try to crank it over,
but get bright again when you release the key. I would say the starter is bad. But if they shut off, or stay dim. check the battery cable connections. If they get dim, and take a while to get bright, or don't brighten at all. The battery most likly has an internal short.
These tests are good, but the most accurate tests are done with the.
proper meters and scanners. It can save you money and headaches
in the end. I hope I was of some help. Good luck.
