Question about 1997 Jeep Cherokee
Depends on where it broke if it broke off on the release end inside you can take off the kick panel and remove the release bracket then go up about 3-4 inches and cut the casing around the cable and grab the cable with a pair of pliers and pop the hood. then you can replace the assembly with a new one.
