If it isn't the fuse then it is an internal issue. The easiest fix is it is solder on the the thin resistors on the circuit board (sometimes the soldering goes "bad"). Open up the clock and look at the resistor soldering, if they look cracked then they need to be re-soldered. I offer a convenient repair solution at www.aucoclockrepair.com, lifetime warranty and I repair more than just the resistors if needed.

Ignition and headlight illumination (clock should dim when wired to IG/+). The clockshould be bright with it disconnected and dim with it connected to +/IG. If it is dead in all cases, I offer a repair service, check out www.autoclockrepair.com.

Honda HR-V clock doesn't illuminate until the flap covering the time set buttons is pressed. Also what does the reset button do?

This is a standard symptom of the clock going bad internally. The reset button should set the time to the nearest hour. In any event, I offer a repair service and have the removal instructions at my site, check it out!

Time clock has stoped working

Hello,

Below are the removal instructions from my website www.autoclockrepair.com. I also offer a very reasonable repair service.

1997 - 2001 Honda CRV Clock removal Instructions
The vent bezel assembly needs to come out prior to clock removal.
Follow these 4 steps
1. Using a wide, thin blade such as a putty or butter knife, pry the
assembly up a little at the bottom until it pops out and slightly.
2. Pull the bottom out as it clears, and the top of the vent bezel
assembly will follow.
3. Once you have the vent bezel out, remove the electrical plug from
the clock.
4. Unscrew the two phillips screws that hold the clock in place.

The clock doesnt work. it doesnt light up. how can i fix it?

Sounds like your clock is dying. This is typically an issue with the clock itself. This is very common with many Subarus, CR-Vs, Pathfinders, 4runners, etc. The good news is that it can be repaired for a reasonable rate, and a lifetime guarantee. Check out www.autoclockrepair.com
