Why is the front tires slanted when I reverse or turn on my 1995 ford f-150

A normal amount of angle is proper for the kind of car or truck you drive. Horizontal angle is called "Toe-In" or "Camber" and Vertical angle is called "Caster." A wheel alignment specialist will be able to tell you quickly whether your car or truck requires the $100 wheel alignment procedure to assure your tires wear evenly on each axle. Front tires always wear more, particularly in front wheel drives vehicles as the tires have two kinds of wear: steering wear from side to side, and increased friction wear from torque application from acceleration. FWD vehicles generally require tire rotations twice as often as RWD vehicles for this reason. Always get a wheel alignment when replacing both front tires with new ones to increase tire life.

My truck sounds like I have mud tire on it while I'm driving

You don't say what kind of truck you are driving, nor from where the sound seems to be coming from, but that kind of sound can be caused by a bad wheel bearing, or simply a partially separated belt in a tire.

Can we use snow tires on it and if so what kind and size. for a 2007 mercury mountineer

Hello. Yes, snow tires will give you the best possible traction in winter driving conditions, better that all season. The size tire depends upon the size of your rim so go to a tire store and shop around. They will tell you what size your vehicle requires. As far as kind goes, I prefer Michelin but any brand name snow tire will work fine.
Kindly rate my answer as useful. Thank you.

if tires are wearing in the center it says that they are over inflated, the noise you hear could be tire tread hum or it could be front wheel bearing hard to tell without actually seeing your tires.
