There may be one blower fuse under the hood, and one in the cab. The fuse in the interior may be labeled HVAC. If your sure all fuses are good use a dvm to check for power at the resistor and the blower. The resistor should be attached to the blower or very near it. The two wires going to th blower motor (after the resistor) should have 12v when fan speed selector is on high and key on. The voltage should vary relative to the fan speed selected. If you have voltage here the blower motor is bad. Usually the bearings are what go bad, you can remove the blower and wire it direct to the battery and it should work if you spin the fan by hand first to loosen it. Sometimes the motor burns out but if something is actually burnt the problem may be somewhere else, BCM, blower control module, resistor, or a short. Take it to a shop to diagnose if this is the case.

My 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab heater won't shut off when I turn heater off and when truck isn't started and still stays on

Sounds like the HIGH fan relay is stuck in the ON position. Pull the relay and see if it goes off. It should. Then simply replace the relay. This relay should be located under the hood, in the black relay/fuse center.

I have a 1990 chevy silverado 5.7 i just flushed my heater core & now my heater won't go on some say it's the fan relay but i got no current whatsoever.

You have no heat or no fan? If its the fan check the fuse. If fuse is good more then likely its the switch.

Heater fan not working . changed fuse and nothing Silverado 1500

you can test the motor with a multe tester with ohms capable, locate the heater motor and the wires feeding it there will be 2 find the plug and unplug it, using the tester probe the 2 wires with the red and black from the meter to the motor side, on ohms scale the meter should deflect close to full scale, with a digital it should read around 30 or have at least have a low number but no lower than 20 or so, if you get a reading your motor is probably OK, you can also use the meter in voltage mode and with the heater turned on you should read a voltage higher than 10 on the vehicular side of the plug, if there is no voltage there check to see if you have voltage at the heater fuse, if so than replace your fan control switch,,,good to go

2003 chevy silverado air does not blow through vents. Condenser works. Pipes are cold. Fan works. Modular (next to fan) repalced to get fan to work. Heater air conditioner controls under radio replaced....

The air vents are control by vacuum line and or linkage.

Listen for hiss or feel for vacuum leak under the dash,

Feel for broken linkage(s) that are close to the vents.

WORK BACKWARD if you have small hands to feel out where is the missing link.

Fan wont come on the ac

it sounds to me like if the fuses are good then the resistor is burned out for the blower motor. it is usualy mounted near the blower motor and aprox. $25-$50. hope this helps and it is a cheaper fix than replacing the fan first. the resistor is the weakest portion of the blower motor electrical circut.
