Question about 1996 Chevrolet Blazer
I had the same problem. It turns out that the resistor was burnt, as this is a LED light strip and not a single bulb. If you are handy and want to save $$$$ you can get a replacement resistor through a parts store such as Radio Shack and solder it into the board. I did this and it works just fine

No there is no seperate fuse.I would try to change the bulbs and check the sockets for corosion and if it is not the problem I would start checking the wiring going to the light.see if you get juice at the socket were the light bulb goes in with a test light first.

Have you checked the brake light switch thats activated by the brake pedal arm?if not follow the brake pedal arm up under the dash and you will find a switch that goes on and off when you push the arm in and out.Make sure you have power in and out and the switch is correctly adjusted.

have you checked the earthing continuity-if it's this other bulbs may also partly light when brakes used
Check continuity of live from center to lh & rh lights and/or is there a live at those lights
