I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 the heater core, thermostat, n water pump were all replaced and its shooting out antifreeze?

vehicle cold, remove radiator cap. see if coolant pushes out of radiator. if so, blown head gasket. if not recheck thermostat and or installation. make sure to bleed air from cooling system. while running burp upper radiator hose with hand. upper hose will get hot once system is operating properly.

After my 96 ram 1500 318c.u. gets up to temp. the temp gauge keeps going up. it never has over heated but i dont drive it very far. ive replaced upper and lower hoses, thermastat and radiator cap. Im lost?...

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. That would be my next guess. Maybe a bad coolant sensor. You might have a bad water pump as well. Make sure the fans are kicking on properly also. Check your radiator.

Truck is running hot. Relaced thermasta and still runs the same. Noticed the top hose gets real hot while the bottom one doesnt. Dont get it.

The cooling water doesn't seem to making it through the radiator. Look for plugged radiator, blocked upper or lower hose, or ineffective water pump. Remove the inlet and outlet hose after draining coolant from the radiator. Hold your hand over the lower hose outlet while someone fills the radiator with cold water. When full, leave the cap off, then remove your hand from the outlet. If the core is unobstructed, the water will rush through it in a few seconds. Check the upper hose inlet--there should be no obstruction. Inspect the interior of each hose looking for collapse or other blockage. If ok, that leaves the water pump--remove it from the engine and check that the impeller turns solidly with the driving pulley. Any looseness there is grounds for replacement. Hope some of this helps!

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500, my antifreeze keeps leaking but i don't think it is coming from the radiator, my buddy is telling me he thinks its the water pump what do u think

it could be anything, this is certainly not a problem that can be diagnoses over the internet. i would start by performing a pressure test, that should make any external leaks evident. that being said, water pumps are typically a more common failure then a radiator. good luck!

it is time to replace it...radiators are expensive at parts house....i would replace it with one from a wrecking yard or from craigslist.com...you really don't need that stop leak screwing up your cooling/heating system...hope this helps

1994 dodge ram coolant leak

The bypass hose from the waterpump to the intake is leaking. It is about four inches long and is directly under the ac compressor and bracket.
