Question about 2006 Ford F-150
IWE solenoid is the cheapest first option. The second part is a little more expensive to play with and harder to test. It is the transfer case shift motor. Mine had internal wiring out of tolerance according to the dealer with DTC code of P1867 followed by a TSB 06-9-8. Shift motor is 8L3Z 7G360 A Motor ASY

Your looking for the iwe behind the battery its about a 20 dollar part but before you get a new one check the vaccum lines on behind the tires if thier on pull them off and check for moisture if their off put them on and try them if that dosnt work replace the iwe, you might have to zip tie them to the brake line so they wont fall off
