Im having the same problem, but yes it does run using starting fluid on mine, the car had a new fuel pump put on it a few months ago and ran fine and then i turned it off at a gas station and it wouldnt start back up, i got a fuel pressure tester, and while it was running off of the starting fluid it got up to 10psi, from what i understand, the pump should be between 35 and 50 or 55. my question is how is the best way to check the pump, and to verify that it has a good ground, or thinking outloud here, since i am getting 10 psi, that means the pump is running and the ground is fine, but that the pump is the culprit...... any ideas before i drop the fuel tank. this thing is full of gas (very heavy, ya know) thanks in advance
