The car is a 1998 nissan pathfinder. I need to replace the module or fixture, whatever the proper term is, not just the headlight itself. Could you give me the steps to do this please?

The 1st thing you need to do here is supply all the information about what the year of the car is and exactly what u are replacing, u don't say, there are lots of modules, if this is a follow answer from another experts reply don't open a new thread, post your reply using the email link you received from the original question, or use the My Profile link at top right of page and there u will find the original problem u posted.

I have a 1988 k2500 gmc 4x4 with a 350 in it. iam having a issue with mass lack of power when ever i step into the gas at all it just spudders really bad i have replaced spark plugs dis/cap wires pcv knock...

1988 K2500 hundred was once plaque by the whole distributor reluctor itself this is the one where you florr it and it backfire through the intake, so you have to take out the disributor as a whole and replace it mind you mark the direction the rotor point to before you pull it out so it will be easy to put on again, you will need a timing light to set it correctly

I'v had to disconect the water feed to the heater radiator as its leaking water into the car. can i fix it with out removing the whole inside dash of the car??

Hi, no im afraid not it sounds like the heater matrix rad has got a leak and to get this out you are going to need to remove most of the dash, it will be a good idea to get a workshop manual a haynes one if you can get one as this will give you step by step instructions and pictures because their are loads of hidden clips and screws that you need to get to to be able to remove the dash.

sorry i couldnt give you good news and it only gets worse as its a nightmare of a job to do and if you pay a garage to do it then the charges for hourly rate will be high as its such a big job and considering the rad itself wont cost much its the labour that kicks the price up. but if you are doing it yourself then please get a workshop manual as its a right nightmare of a job to do

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

WHAT WOULD CAUSE MY 2000 VOLVO S80 TO LOSE POWER. ONE MIN IT WAS DRIVING GREAT. SMOOTH. I PARKED. WHEN I RESTARTED THE VEHICLE A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER IT SEEMED TO DRAG. NO PICK UP. HAD IT DIAGNOSED. SAYS...

This type of problem is very difficult to give advise online without actually checking the car out? The problem you are describing sounds like you are having an issue with the electronic throttle module. For the throttle to work properly you need good battery voltage going to the throttle. One thing you should really check when this happens is the charging system. There was some issues with the voltage regulator when it would get hot while driving for a while, the voltage regulator would just start to quit. If Voltage to the throttle goes low enough then the throttle stops responding. Most of the time there will be no messages on the cluster or warning lights but I would highly recommend you go to a shop that can actually scan all the control modules especially the central electronic module and the electronic throttle module for codes related to low battery voltage. If there is voltage codes then most likely the voltage regulator is failling. If you order one from Volvo, they stock an upgraded version of the regulator. Compare prices for the regulator vs. a complete alternator. If you are not savingicon1.png much money, with the mileage on the car I would just replace the whole alternator. If there are different codes then further diagnosis would need to be done to see if it is a bad throttle, bad accelerator pedal, or an issue with the wiring? I hope this helps you with starting with some basic steps and please keep me posted.

Startup problems, at first no clicking or nothing 3rd time engine turned over but there was a high pitch wining i think from the starter itself pls help, Chef KB

It sounds like the starter solenoid has gone bad, Best thing to do is just to replace the whole starter. The starter solenoid is mounted on the starter, but to go through all that trouble to remove the starter, might as well replace the whole thing. Auto Zone carries the starter for your car and can give you the step by step instructions to get the job done with common tools. Good luck and when removing the old starter, take pictures with your cell phone to reference the wires when re-installing the new starter.

How do I replace the ignition coil on a 6 cylinder 2001 grand am

There are two types of coil system on your Grand Am. I just can not recall which one's you have right now. There is the one that you need to replace the whole unit which controls all 6 spark plugs and the other system where there are three coils and each coil runs two spark plug. If you go to Auto Zone they can give you the right ignition coil system to the year of your car and they will have the step by step instructions to getting the job done with common tools. The other thing to is to have the ignition module check to make sure it's working right. A bad module will also not activate some of the coils or all or them. Good luck and hope this helps.

92 honda accord intermittent crank but no start/ tranny issues

I know that early 90's Honda's had problems and in fact a recall on the distributor. Might want to replace the distributor. Inside of the distributor is a part called the igniter which is the ignition module and that is what normally goes out. I cannot remember if you have to replace the whole distributor to get the igniter or if you can just replace the igniter itself. Has been a few years since I have worked on one. hope this helps but if not please contact me. I'm not sure about the drive light flashing thing though, new one on me.
