The fuse should be located in the fuse block behind the dash. if you look in your owners manual it will tell you the correct location of the fuse in the fuse block or it may be labeled on the fuse block. if you cant find the location in writing you can pull each fuse one at a time and check them or use a test light to see which one is blown.

It can be issue with radio fuse or wiring issue of radio.
First test the radio fuse.If its blown out, then replace it.If the fuse i checked ok,then its radio wiring issue.Test the voltage.

Wich fuse for the radio system would you like to replace? There are 6 of them. Your integrated control panel (dash unit) is controlled by the rear electronic module. This is all part of the multiplexed computer network in your car. I would recommend BEGINNING diagnosis of your radio by scanning your computer network for fault codes, then go from there...

Even if there is a blown fuse, this is an indication that there is an electrical failure which must be diagnosed and repaired. Blown fuses do not cause electrical component failures. Electrical component failures cause blown fuses. Replacing a blown fuse without diagnosing and correcting the fault that made it blow will only result in another blown fuse.

The radio in my 1992 ford ranger has stopped working i believe its a blown fuse, but i dont know which fuse works for the radio.

Hello prettygal842
In the fuse block under the dash left of the steering column, fuse #1 15amp is for the radio station
memory. Fuse #11 15amp is for radio power. Hope this is helpful.

it is just a fuse so you don't have to worry to much. just take a look at your fuse box and pull the fuses depending on label i guarantee you will find a blown fuse. good luck.

Check the engine compartment. It's definitely a fuse that has blown.

2000 dodge intrepid radio silent. All lights work, any suggestions? Car sat with dead batt 12 months.

I recommend checking the fuse for the radio. It may be blown. If it is, replace it with another fuse that has the same amperage rating. I believe the fuses will be color coded based on how many amps they are rated at. Just replace it with the same color. The fuse box is located under a panel on the left side of the dash. You access it by opening the driver's side door and gently pulling the panel off. I believe your owner's manual will have a diagram that shows what fuse goes where. There may be a diagram on the back of panel you pull off too.

Radio not working. im trying to find the fuse for the radio

its one of the fuses under the hood not sure which one but its one of the small ones you will have to look in the manual or just check all of the small ones and replace the one that is blown i think its a 5 watt you are going to want to replace it with a 10 or 15 watt this is what they told me to do at the car audio store

I believe the Kia has 2 fuses for the radio, one in the cabin, and one in the engine compartment. Check them both. If they are good, your radio is toast.
