Question about 2002 Chrysler Concorde
This is very common with the 2.7 engine. There is a history of sludge buildup in the engine. Something to do with the water pump.design. I know it sounds crazy, but this is what I have found out on a "Google" search. If you go on Craigslist and searh for intrepids for sale you will find some needing engines. Then go on "car-part.com." and try to find an engine for your vehicle. Very high priced. And we're talking used. You can try running and engine flush thru it (Do NOT drive the vehicle with the FLUSH in the engine) after idling for 10-15 minutes, drain the oil and filter and add a premium oil like synthetic blend or better.
