Looking in the direction of your windshield, at the fusebox of course, it should the the first one on the bottom left. It's white, and about 1 inch square.

Electric cooling fans only come on when air conditioner is on.

Hi, the relay for AC compressor/Horn are on the left as you look at the car from the front. in the middle are Blower/Hi/Low and On the right,Engine Fan High Engine Fan Low. You may have more or less relaysand they may not be in order.

They are located in the Power Distribution Centre under the hood up near the wipers on the left. The fuses and breakers are on top and the relays are on the bottom.

Find the horn relay because its reasy to honk the horn while you pull the relay that completes the circuit. The one that is dissconnected and the horn wont blow is a good relay. Check the power rating in Amps and switch with the fan relays. You can find the fan by unplugging the coolant temp sensor. This will make the fan run all the time on High Speed (a good temporary fix for traffic jam overheating) and unplugging relays untill the fan stops running

Good Luck.

If it blew cold air after freon added and 5 days later blew warm, you may have a leak in the system. Also check and see if compressor comes on if not you may have an electrical issue, relay for compressor, coil on compressor, etc.......

'03 Toyota Corolla- Air Condiotioner making noise...

I've been looking into an A/C problem for my 2004 Pontiac Vibe (which is basically a Toyota). Found something that might help you. Evidently there was a service bulletin (NOT a recall) about this model's M/G CLT relay in the air conditioner system - many of them have proved faulty! That relay is in the fuse box under the hood near the battery. Basically the relay just has to be replaced. Cost of part is around $70. Hope this will help!

I have a 03 corolla that is only blowing hot air. I took it to a mechanic they said there is plenty of coolant and the compressor is working fine. They checked th computer and there is no known problems...

My same problem was the A/C relay switch. You can get them at Autozone for $27.99
It is located in the large under hood housing, about 1" x 1/2" in size. It's the first rectangular item to the left, as you are looking toward the windshield.
To locate the actual fuse though, it is under the dash to the left of the steering wheel in a small narrow enclosure, The lid has printed, the fuses and what they serve. The AC fuse is a 10 Amp.
I hope this helps you...
