He may need to replace the ignition coil... when its hot it gets faulty its more likely to give a bad run then you have to wait for it to get cold to have a good run

99 Mazda 626 2.0 changed starter 3x's. No start

Well it could be an engine problem, or a bad connection with one of the battery cables. The engine would require more voltage to crank when it is hot, but not that much.
You might want to have someone check the engine to see how much drag is has when hot, by turning the crank by hand.

1993 mazda 626 auto, starts fine when cold, but not when I've driven it for a while.

I would start with a good tune up, including the intake gasket. Changes in temperature could cause gaskets to stop sealing properly letting unmeasured air inside the engine. Also check for fuel filter.

I have a 1996 Mazda 626 2.0 Automatic. It runs

of course the top is hot water goes into the rad from the top and out of the bottom into the engine, the fact that the belt broke makes me wonder about the integrity of the water pump, the impeller might be slipping, could still be the rad , does the heat go from the top to the bottom???

Engine shudders and dies trying to go from a red light

The engine has an electronic module where the spark plug wires connect to. Replace this and you will see the difference. Once this module heats up it will malfunction. After cooling down the car will start up again. hope this helps.

1991 Mazda 626 DX dies suddenly after running for 10 minutes.

Hello, It sounds like an engine ignition control module gone out or a coil. They get hot and quit working after a short period of time, cool off then work again till they get hot.
Is the ignition system pointless electronic or does it have points? Are you getting any fire at all now to the cylinders? Does the tach in the vehicle show any RPM's during cranking? Do you have voltage at the positive side of the ignition coil? Does the coil meet the ohm ratings for that years vehicle ignition? Does the vehicle have oil in it so the oil pressure sensor allows the engine to run, this may not be an option on your particular vehicle? You can check most of this out with a volt/ohm meter. Check your voltages before starting the vehicle, during running and after it quits to see where the loss is. Just don't get near the center tap of the coil or you will get a rude awakening and/or serious injury. Good luck, RAC

when the car is hot and will not crank have someone get under the car and TAP the gas tank moderately hard with a rubber mallet, if this helps start the car you have an intermittent problem with your fuel pump. If your not getting gas properly your problem will exist in your fuel system if you are not receiving a ecm code. So, it could be the pump, mass air flow, or injectors. I have replaced mass air flow sensors and received a damaged sensor or damaged it myself, but if you have a decent mechanic who knows what he is doing he can hook up to your computer and tell if it is your mass air flow.
