they do not use torsion bars on those cars.it is probably the sway bar you're talking about.if it's the front one they are pretty tough to change.you need to lower the front sub-frame to replace the sway bar.

Sealed Beam Type
Remove the headlight bezel
To avoid turning the vertical or horizontal aiming screws, refer to the illustration before removing the headlight retainer.
Remove the headlight trim screws then...
... pull the trim off while holding the bulb
4. Pull the headlight out, then carefully detach the electrical connector.
Pull the bulb out far enough to disconnect the wiring

the haynes repair manual,,will explain all of it ,,its about 20,,dollar's,,it is a lot of work,,can give u step by step if u want it that way,,

Tips for a great answer:
The Grand Prix uses separate bulbs for low beams and high beams. The low beams are located on the outer edge of the headlight assemblies while the high beams are located on the inner edge of the assemblies. With this in mind, locate the position of the burned out bulb prior to replacing it.
