Hello. There are only two ways to get the oil out. This will be a bit messy but one way to drain the oil is to remove the plug in the oil pan underneath the vehicle. The other way is to get a gasoline siphon at any auto parts store made up of plastic tubing and a siphoning bulb and insert it into the dipstick tube under the hood. Regards, Joe

White smoke coming from exhaust, need help

White smoke is condensation from a buildup of water from within the exhaust system - if it was blue smoke then it is burning oil ... let car sit for a few minutes and take the dipstick out - wipe it clean - then re-insert dipstick - take it back out and check level against gauge at bottom of dipstick if you think you may have overfilled the oil

White smoke out the tail pipe is a sign of water! Black smoke is excess carbon, dark grey is oil.

Possible that you have a leaking head gasket that is getting water into the cylinders?

Why would oil and water leak out of my Lincoln navigator 5.4l engine

Worse case this could be due to a blown head gasket - however let not jump to conclusions. Where is the oil coming from and did you have it changed recently? Water is common from the A/C condenser and or over fill of the wiper fluid or possibly rain / bad oil change place that "rinses the engine" with water to get excess oil off. If you did have your oil changed / car serviced, take it back and have them check it. Maybe it's a loose oil filter or loose oil drain plug / bad washer on the drain plug. If you haven't have the oil changed recently, did you hit anything or did the car over heat recently? To see if you blew a gasket, check your overflow tank coming off the radiator. Pop the cap and look inside to see if you see oil (not dirty water / coolant). Also check if the car is blowing blueish smoke or excessive white smoke when you drive / rev the motor. If not, hopefully your fine. Post more details and you'll get a better answer. Good luck!

White smoke from the exhaust is usually a sign that the head gasket has failed. But, it could be an oil system failure in the Turbo cooling system. It would help to know the engine and fuel type in your Patrol(They make so many different models, and they aren't all the same)

Too much oil was put into the engine of an opel astra 160i 1999 model...the motor vehicle smokes excessively...was there any damage done???? what can i do abour it???

If you did not drive it very hard you have done no damage. Just drain it down till it's at the proper level. Drive it normal, she may smoke for a bit but the smoking should go away and all will be ok.

White smoke from tailpipe and low oil pressure

How's the anti-freeze doing? Usually when you see white smoke coming out the tailpipe it's because you are getting anti-freeze in the exhaust somehow. Try to sniff it a little does smell like anti-freeze, or oil? I don't know why the oil pressure would be low unless you are getting anti-freeze in the oil. Does the oil look milky, knda like chocolate milk? The low oil pressure could also be a faulty gauge, you may want to have a mechanic put a mechanical gauge on the car for test purposes.

My mother has a 2 yr old ford fusion with about 27,000 miles on it. Yesterday I drove it. At one point I had to turn while going up a hill. While accelerating the engine seemed to loose power but continued...

manual or automatic transmition?
if it is a manual it just needs a new clutch plate.
if it's an auto there is something seriously wrong and you should not drive it at all untill you can convince a mechanic to look at it

The jag 6 cylinder does emit white smoke on start up generally, its condensation being burnt. However, if it is excessive, you should check to see if you are losing coolant. Then its a whole new ball, game. Black smoke indicates excess fuel being burnt or lack of it , ishould say and blue smoke indicates oil burning.
Hope this helps
