Well for one they may not have reconected all the connectors that go to it, or they may not have seen other damage that was needing to be fixed.
Take it back to them...a good shop will make it right for you.

check your trunk lock mechanism. it might not be locking properly and not seating right due to rear damage and trunk lights are on and that can drain the battery overnight. have it adjusted.

Is Bank One Sensor One code P2195 legitimate?

the 02 sensor on the top of the exhaust manifold is faulty, you can check and see if there are any cut wires to it, that is only way i can think of it being tampered with.
when you replace the sensor make sure you use a denso and not a bosh or it will not work properly.

Speedometer Quit working on 2004 f250 after the front end was repaired for collision damage

It is for sure that the front collision has done the damage to all the sections mentioned and it was important that before you took delivery of the car a proper trial test run was important. It will be best to get this back and have it checked to rectify the above faults.possible cable , sensor, gear could be damged and might need replacement.

My wife hit a curb in her 99 Subaru legacy GT. Now the rear tire is sloped like this /XXXX/ Took it to a repair shop - they said they couldn't find any bent components - yet the tire is wearing on the...

In my experience as an alignment tech at Sears Roebuck & Co., I found that angles can most definitely be changed by hitting a curb or getting into a car accident.

Looking at it with the naked eye doesn't always show how the parts were bent.

If the tires are wearing on the outside, then the camber and possible toe was affected by the accident.

Have the car aligned at a reputable shop like Sears Auto Center or Firestone or Goodyear, and you'll get the same answer.

Ask for a printout of the angles before and after the repair service has been performed.

If the lower control arm was bent, then have it replaced, or have the angles adjusted. A good alignment shop will replace the bent parts, and adjust the adjustable angles for you to bring it back to factory specifications.

A Subaru Legacy GT would be a unibody car, so a body shop that specializes in unibody collision can be a good place to go as well. They are used to rebuilding wrecks from the ground up in order to bring the entire car back to specifications.

One may have to bounce between the body shop and if they don't have the alignment machines, a name brand company like Sears or Firestone or Goodyear that has the computerized alignment machine for doing the final angle adjustments.

They have most likely painted over the sensors in the rear bumper or the module has fialed or the sensors are not plugged, one other slim posibility is the siren in the module is faulty.

Battery keeps dieing..jump start and runs for a few days and dies

Humm ...Didn't die before the accident? now dies? BMW has good mechanics, but could not find any problem???. I gota think that it is related to the rear ending, but how? I would look for loose connections, Battery Ground that might have been removed before welding.Battery terminals, Any primary connections that may not be making 100% contact . It's worth a try.Good Luck

Fuse blows causing dash instruments to not function

This could be a problem with what he did if the wiring was not correct and he had to replace the head light or any of the wiring harness to make the car like new. There is a short somewhere. It could be that with the accident some wire got trapped in the metal and when they straightend the body they pinched the wire or something to do with the headlight. I would take it back to him and demand that he shows you exactly what he did. Body shops are known for having issues like this and not wanting to take blame fr a problem
