Question about Volkswagen New Jetta

I have a 2005 vw jetta 5cyl. It has multiple misfire codes and code 18711 , leak in air intake . I have replaced the air intake brand new plugs , and coils , all with oem parts , I even tried a new mass air flow sensor . i brought it to a dealer , they said it was something in the timing and would have to disassemble frt of engine to diagnose . by the way, the car has 62000 miles . Any suggestions

There are two sensors that directly related to the timing.
The cam sensor and the crank sensor. I don't know if they
were tested or overlooked. Or in some of the codes you
pulled. But I would check these before I tear down the engine.
Hope this helps. Good luck

Honda odessey engine code p3100

There is no p3100 code!!

I think you copied this wrong. the code is p0301, which is a common one.

The P0301 code means that the cylinder 1 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks an if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 1. If the problem persist more tests needs to be done to diagnose problem.

Possible causes
- Faulty spark plug 1
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector 1
- Faulty ignition coil 1
- Fuel injector 1 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coil 1 harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coil 1 circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinder 1 compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak

Most likely cause:
Faulty spark plug 1 or Faulty ignition coil 1 (Ignitor coil)

Either are easy fixes. Start with a new spark plug. If the problem continues replace the coil. Pic below. new about $30-$40.

What causes 2005 2.5l volvo to misfire and show code random multiple misfires i replaced plugs but no good

I would take it back and demand a refund. Could be the crank or cam sensors, an intake leak, faulty coil, or a list of other components.

I have an 2005 ford f250 with the 5.4L. and its showing codes po174, po300, po305, po307 and i alreadt put a new maf in. what should it look at next?

Did you resolve the other codes? p0300 random multiple misfire, p0305 misfire cyl #5, p0307 misfire cyl #7? You could have bad ignition coils or a vacuum leak. Check your coils and check for vacuum leaks at the intake manifold check vacuum hoses. Hope this helps!

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500. 4.3 liter engine. I brought it to autozone and they put the gauge on it and got two codes P0140 and P0300. I had my distributor cap replaced, ignition rotor, plugs ,wires,...

Clean mass air flow sensor with a nonchlronated brake cleaner, install new air filter and check all vacuum lines for leaks then check for vacuum leak around or at intake manifold.Code P0140 is for mass air flow sensor code P0300 is a multiple misfire which more than likely is a vacuum leak possibly intake manifold gaskets leaking.
